1. Service Description

SBC Global Solutions LLC, doing business as OCI Assistant (www.ociassistant.com) ("we", "us", "our") provides administrative document preparation assistance for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) applications. Our service helps you identify, organize, and prepare documents required for submission to the Indian Government's OCI portal and VFS Global.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, immigration advice, or attorney services of any kind.

2. No Government Affiliation

OCI Assistant is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing the Government of India, the Ministry of External Affairs, or VFS Global. All trademarks and names referenced herein belong to their respective owners.

3. No Approval Guarantee

The fee paid to OCI Assistant is solely for document preparation services. We do not guarantee OCI approval. All approval decisions are made exclusively by the Government of India. VFS Global handles application processing on their behalf and may reject submissions that do not meet their requirements. We have no influence over, or responsibility for, any approval, rejection, or delay of your OCI application.

4. Non-Refundable Fee

The service fee displayed at the time of payment is non-refundable once payment is processed, regardless of the outcome of your OCI application, whether you choose to proceed, or any changes in your personal circumstances. We do not offer refunds or chargebacks except as required by law.

5. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information and answers you provide, ensuring your documents are genuine and meet government requirements, and submitting your application correctly.

The document requirements generated by this service are based entirely on the answers you provide. OCI Assistant is not responsible for incorrect requirements resulting from inaccurate or incomplete answers.

We do not review the content, authenticity, or legal validity of any document you upload, and we do not provide legal advice of any kind.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SBC Global Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to: rejection of your OCI application, errors in information you provided, changes in government requirements, or delays in processing by the Government of India or VFS Global.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service.

7. Data Sharing and Privacy

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We share your information with third-party service providers as necessary to operate the website and deliver our services. These include (but are not limited to):

Payment processors (e.g., Stripe)
Cloud hosting and storage providers
Email service providers
Technical service providers who assist with website functionality

These third parties are contractually required to use your data only for the purpose of providing services to us and to maintain appropriate security. We do not sell your personal information.

Your uploaded documents are stored securely and are accessible by you and our support team solely for the purpose of troubleshooting and providing assistance. All files are permanently deleted 7 days after your upload is submitted. You may delete your files at any time before the 7-day period through your account.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Union County, North Carolina.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our service (parents or legal guardians may use the service on behalf of minor applicants).
